Production Worker

Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description As a production associate, you will be responsible for manually assembling boxes, packing final brick bags, and including instructions into packaging prior to shipment. This role requires standing for 12-hour shifts in an assembly line format, ensuring efficient production and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Assemble boxes and pack final brick bags with instructions. Stand for 12-hour shifts in an assembly line format. Maintain machines and work area in tidy and clean condition. Perform production line tasks and ensure smooth operation. Ensure compliance with quality standards and report issues promptly. Collaborate with peers and maintain excellent communication. Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning. Meet standard hourly production results. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing. Ability to perform assembly line and repetitive tasks. Standing for 8-12 hour shifts. Experience in quality control, assurance, and checks. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs when loading full boxes onto pallets. High School Diploma/GED preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic and special knowledge in packing and material handling. Ability to make a box in less than 2 seconds. Experience in machine operation is beneficial. Continuous standing and walking, with body movement side-to-side. Work Environment Work in a very clean, state-of-the-art facility in Colonial Heights, housing packaging operations, warehouse, and training center. Enjoy climate-controlled conditions, access to locker rooms, and canteen/breakroom amenities. Adhere to dress code with no jewelry, phones, fake nails, fake lashes, nail polish, or hoodies allowed on the production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
