Measure fabrics and finished products using various measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy according to specifications. Maintain adherence to safety standards in production environments, including proper handling of materials and equipment. Monitor quality standards throughout the sewing process, inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies. Handle materials efficiently within warehouse settings, ensuring proper storage, movement, and inventory management of fabric materials. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine issues, optimize sewing techniques, and improve overall workflow efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in garment sewing, upholstery, or related manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of sewing construction techniques. Proficiency in operating single needle industrial sewing machines Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements to ensure precise product specifications. Familiarity with quality standards in production and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Experience handling fabric materials and performing manual cutting tasks with accuracy. Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns for garment construction or upholstery projects.
