Job Overview Turman Sawmill is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Planer Shed Production Worker . This is a hands-on general labor position that primarily involves handling, stacking, and moving lumber as part of our planer shed operations. Job Responsibilities Handle and stack lumber coming through the planer operation Sort and organize lumber as needed Maintain a steady work pace to support production Keep the work area clean and organized Follow established safety procedures Assist with other production and general labor duties as needed Qualifications Able to perform physical labor throughout the workday Able to lift, handle, and stack lumber repeatedly Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance Willing to work overtime when production needs require it Able to work safely in a sawmill/manufacturing environment Previous sawmill, lumber, manufacturing, or general labor experience is helpful but not required Turman Sawmill is part of The Turman Group, a local, family-owned and operated group of companies serving the forest products industry.

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
