One direct interview with the hiring manager Position Overview We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 for a non-production, non-technical position focused on parts organization, storage management, and material handling. The primary responsibility will be to organize and improve an existing parts storage system by sorting, identifying, arranging, and transporting hardware parts. The ideal candidate will be organized, physically capable, comfortable handling parts, and able to follow instructions while working independently. Previous material-handling, warehouse, inventory, stockroom, or parts-management experience is a plus, but is not required. The selected candidate will receive daily priorities and guidance from the hiring manager and will be expected to complete assigned work independently for most of the day. Key Responsibilities Sort and organize hardware parts within the designated storage area. Arrange parts correctly on shelving. Bring items currently outside the storage area into the organized system. Receive parts delivered at the dock and transport them to the storage area. Use available pallet jacks, dollies, and electric lifts. Identify usable parts versus bad or defective parts after receiving training. Maintain organized storage and parts-management areas. Support ongoing parts-management activities. Follow daily priorities and instructions. Complete assigned work independently while maintaining accuracy. Required Qualifications Ability to perform physically active material-handling work. Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to follow safety procedures. No specific minimum years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications Material-handler experience. Warehouse experience. Inventory experience. Stockroom experience. Parts-management experience. Experience organizing physical inventory or hardware parts. Technical Skills Basic Excel skills, including spreadsheet navigation and data entry. Word. PowerPoint. Outlook and email. Teams. No advanced technical knowledge required. Work Environment / Physical Requirements Physically active position involving sorting, organizing, moving, and transporting parts. Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds. Pallet jacks, dollies, and electric lifts will be available. Required safety and equipment-related training will be provided.

Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
