WFQ is seeking a Production Machine Operator for one of our customers in Richmond, VA This is a direct hire position. The pay rate for the Production Machine Operator starts at 23.00 and varies based on experience. Job summary for the
Production Machine Operator :
The Production Machine Operator supports extrusion and drawn tube manufacturing operations by safely operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and helping maintain efficient and consistent production processes. This role follows established safety procedures, work instructions, and operating standards to ensure products meet quality specifications and production goals. Key Responsibilities for the
Production Machine Operator :
Operate extrusion, drawn tube, and related production equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards. Monitor equipment performance and promptly report operational issues, abnormalities, or maintenance concerns. Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure conformance with specifications. Follow established work instructions, standard operating procedures, and production requirements. Perform material handling activities and support the movement of materials throughout the production workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production and quality goals. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Complete required production records, quality documentation, and equipment checks accurately. Qualifications for the
Production Machine Operator :
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Experience operating industrial equipment is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to identify and report equipment or process issues. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform material-handling duties as required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends
Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
