Assists with the operation of the Die Cutter/Stamper to achieve maximum quality throughout job process; consistently achieves excellent performance during make-readies and production runs by following company SOPs 2. Assists with interpreting job bag information 3. Assists and learns to adjust press to accommodate for new product sheets being cut (sets feeder, lock up die, sets stripper, blanker and delivery) 4. Assists with quality inspection of each load run; check random sheets to ensure quality 5. If problems are encountered, assists with flagging/isolating/tagging non-conformity product; assists with troubleshooting machinery and making proper corrections to continue processing the order 6. Assists with maintaining accurate written records of production; records waste, production time, down time etc. 7. Utilizes hand truck to remove loads from press 8. Assists crew in the handling of dies 9. Assists with maintenance duties on press as necessary 10. Works proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company Comply with safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas, wearing all required PPE Other duties as assigned Competencies Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Able to work in a fast-paced department with strong motivation and sense of urgency Strong mechanical/machinery aptitude, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Advanced math ability; able to read, measure and interpret metric and standard rulers Advanced communication, organization and time management skills Accuracy and attention to detail, including color and spacing perception Safe use of forklift, hand trucks and pallet jacks; box knife; dies, hand and power tools
