Sandston, Virginia CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Production Technician Associate candidates in the Sandston, VA area. As a Production Technician Associate, you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities:

Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions. Safely use measuring and inspection instruments. Operate various power and hand tools in a safe manner. Work with a variety of materials, including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils, and abrasives. Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality standards. Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within the department.

Desired Background/Skills:

High level of technical skills and assembling techniques. Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and follow job orders and work procedures. Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment. One year of previous experience in manufacturing or troubleshooting. High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience. Two years of experience with a proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment. Strong communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate with and support team members. Ability to remain engaged, productive, and adaptable in a changing work environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
