Job Description

Overview:

Master Cleaners, a fourth-generation, family-owned dry cleaning business, has proudly served the community for many years. We are committed to providing consistent, high-quality garment care while building strong relationships with our customers and their families. We are currently looking for a dependable Clothing Presser to join our production team. Previous experience is not required; we value reliability and a strong work ethic.

Wages:

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. As employees gain experience and develop greater speed, consistency, and pressing skills, they may earn closer to $20.00 per hour.

Hours:

The schedule is Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The workday's end time varies based on the amount of production scheduled, though most shifts finish between noon and 2:00 p.m. Employees in this role typically work approximately 18 to 20 hours per week.

Duties:

Operate pressing equipment to ensure all garments are pressed neatly, accurately, and efficiently. Check your own work for quality and proper finishing. Follow safety procedures when using pressing machines and other equipment. Keep the work area clean and organized to support safety and efficiency. Help with other garment care tasks as needed to support the production team.

Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Reliability and punctuality are essential for success in this role. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling delicate fabrics and pressing tools. Willingness to learn and follow established pressing techniques and safety guidelines. Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship. No previous experience required, but a positive attitude and dependability are highly valued.
