This individual should demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, wholeheartedly support the mission, doctrine, and ministry philosophy of Kempsville Presbyterian Church, and model humility, integrity, and servant leadership in all aspects of ministry. Under the direction of the Worship Arts & Media Director, the TPS is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the church's production technologies, including livestreaming, video production, camera systems, projection, recording, and related technical infrastructure. The position also recruits, equips, and shepherds production volunteers, collaborates with ministry leaders, and pursues continual improvement of production systems and workflows so that technology faithfully serves the worship of God and the ministry of the Gospel. Responsibilities Worship production, livestream & broadcast systems, camera systems, media, infrastructure, technical planning, volunteer leadership, event production, system maintenance Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Two to five years of experience in live production, church production, broadcast media, audiovisual technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience operating and troubleshooting production technologies, including video systems, livestreaming, projection, and computer-based media systems. Experience serving on or leading technical production teams, preferably in a church or live-event environment. Willingness and ability to display initiative in growing and developing skills and understanding of the systems used in the KPC media department. Active, growing Christian faith and agreement with the mission and values of Kempsville Presbyterian Church. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Audio/Visual Technology, Communications, Information Technology, Worship Arts, or a related field. Experience with church production environments. Experience with volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling. Familiarity with ProPresenter, Blackmagic ATEM systems, PTZ cameras, livestreaming platforms, and basic audio/video networking. Experience maintaining technical equipment and production systems. Working knowledge of Planning Center, YouTube, SubSplash, OBS Studio, and Google Workspace.
