Job Description
We are seeking Production workers to support safe, efficient production of raw and cooked protein products across processing and packaging areas. The role helps maintain production flow, product quality, sanitation, and team performance to meet daily production goals. Responsibilities Operate, set up, monitor, and disassemble food processing equipment safely and correctly. Load and unload materials while maintaining proper product flow. Follow production schedules, specifications, SOPs, and work instructions. Communicate equipment, product, or workflow issues to the Production Supervisor or Line Leader. Meet daily production targets while reducing waste, scrap, and downtime. Support process improvements that improve efficiency, yields, and team performance. Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and product handling requirements. Report food safety, quality, product, or equipment concerns promptly. Sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas as required. Work with the team to meet production, quality, and shift goals. Communicate production needs, product issues, and workflow updates clearly. Support team members across production areas as needed. Qualifications Food manufacturing, meat processing, or similar production experience preferred. Maintain regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts Ability to safely operate and learn food processing equipment. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to follow SOPs, instructions, specifications, and food safety requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety. Ability to work well with supervisors and coworkers. Reliable, willing to learn, and able to take on additional responsibilities. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly and stand for the full shift. Work Environment Full-time, hourly position requiring 40+ hours. General shift M-F, 6:30-3:30. Shifts start as early as 5:30am. Overtime and weekends may be required based on production volume. Work involves standing, walking, stooping, and bending for the shift. Exposure to loud machinery, cold temperatures, slippery floors, industrial equipment, cleaning chemicals, and sharp objects. Safety gear, PPE, and training are provided to limit known hazards.
