For over 40 years Travis Industries has been designing and building industry leading award winning hearth heating appliances. We are the largest privately held wood, gas, and pellet stove, insert, and fireplace company in America encompassing multiple brands; Fireplace Xtrodinair, DaVinci Custom Fireplaces, Lopi, and Tempest Torch. Our products are all built in the "House of Fire", our Mukilteo Washington facility encompassing over 11 acres of manufacturing under one roof. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing component inventory, ensuring timely procurement of production materials, and maintaining accurate reporting systems. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of production planning, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and place overseas orders for various long lead items and interpret a forecast to insure proper timing. Conduct weekly cost audits to ensure budget alignment and cost control. Generate and distribute monthly sales and inventory breakdown reports. Implement the production build schedule into Syspro on a monthly basis. Interpret forecast data and production schedules to anticipate procurement needs for both core products and accessories. Create and maintain Excel worksheets for tracking and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Syspro ERP experience is highly desirable. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build, format, and manage complex spreadsheets. Strong understanding of inventory control, procurement processes, and production scheduling.

Great attitude and willingness to be a team oriented performer. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills for cross-departmental coordination. A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail. Can complete tasks with little to no supervision.
