Key Responsibilities The principal responsibilities of the Recycle Associate are to refurbish/recycle returned equipment to like-new condition for resale to customers. The Recycle Associate will perform these duties as outlined by the Sensitech work instructions, quality assurance procedures and assembly drawings. Ensure that products are disassembled/assembled per the applicable work instructions and assembly images. Clean returned equipment to like-new condition by wiping, removing labels and/or adhesive and replacing small parts. Properly sort and dispose of recyclable materials as well as Alkaline and Lithium batteries. Conduct battery check by measuring voltage and measuring PCB board functionality using a milliohm meter. Ensure that products are processed per the applicable Quality Procedure Perform other tasks assigned and help other departments as needed. Ability to follow direction from the Supervisor, Team Lead and/or Team Members. Required Qualifications 8 +months experience in a production/manufacturing environment The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat. Preferred Qualifications Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively. Alert, dependable, and safety-focused. Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments. Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation. Pay Range The hourly rate for this position is between $15 - $30 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
