Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Sheet Metal Operator to join their dynamic team. As a Sheet Metal Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Shift:
Day shift What's the Job? Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including laser cutters, waterjet cutters, plasma cutters, press brakes, PEM, and shears Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization Set up machines according to CNC programs and work instructions, monitoring operation for quality Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects using measuring tools Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain optimal performance What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience or technical training Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds What's in it for me?
