Production Operator Position:
Production Operator Hours:
2nd Shift 3:15PM-1:45AM 4 - 10's in summer and OT as needed in busier months
Pay:
$26.85 plus $1.00 shift differential if applicable Production Operator Role In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
  • Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
  • Mixes and agglomerates in adherence to the production schedule.
  • Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Successful forklift certification required
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1 year of work experience in any industry
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
  • Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Preferred Experience:
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
