Embroidery Technician / Screen Printer Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin | Full-Time | On-Site A rapidly growing custom apparel and merchandise company in the Chippewa Valley is confidentially seeking an experienced and motivated Embroidery Technician / Screen Printer to join its expanding production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality custom apparel and branded merchandise. Position Overview The Embroidery Technician / Screen Printer will play a key role in daily production operations, supporting embroidery and screen printing processes from setup through final quality inspection. This individual will work closely with ownership and internal teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain embroidery machines and/or screen printing equipment Set up production jobs including hooping garments, loading designs, and preparing screens Manage embroidery digitizing adjustments and production settings Mix inks, match colors, and ensure print/design consistency Inspect finished products for quality assurance and troubleshoot production issues Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and customer specifications Maintain production pace while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment Assist with inventory management of garments, inks, threads, screens, and supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded Preferred Experience & Skills Previous experience in embroidery, screen printing, apparel decoration, or promotional products preferred Experience with embroidery software such as Wilcom highly valued
Understanding of:
Digitizing images Stitch density Pull compensation differences Embroidery setup from caps to flats Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic Ability to multitask and remain organized in a production environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation: $15-$20+/hour DOE Bonus opportunities available Consistent, year-round work Hands-on training and skill development Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunity for advancement within a fast-growing company Why This Opportunity?
