We operate in a business-to-business environment, serving wholesalers, retailers and food service distributors. This position will be located at our Glendale, WI facility. Requirements Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage. Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Prepare raw product to be run through the machine. Tend or operate machine that produces product. Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature. Stop machine when malfunctions occur, clear jams, and report malfunctions to a line lead or manager. Bottle finished product. Label bottles for finished product. Pack finished product into boxes. Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards. Adhere to standards and procedures according to Maglio Companies SOP's. Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
Must be able to distinguish color of produce items Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment Must have good attendance Must be able to follow instructions and respond to management direction. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
