Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure high-quality metal fabrication that meets strict safety standards and technical specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending of sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to determine proper machine setup and operation procedures Use measuring instruments and precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on forming machines to optimize performance Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment during machine operation Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards Requirements Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control purposes Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills, and safety standards in production environments Mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up machining tools and perform precision measurement in machining processes Strong understanding of safety protocols related to machine operation and manufacturing practices Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills essential for accurate setup and production workflows Experience with welding, forming machines, sheet metal fabrication, and the use of hand tools is a plus Join us if you're ready to bring your machining expertise into a thriving team dedicated to precision metal fabrication.
