What You'll Do Operate and monitor equipment used in the chevre cheese‑making process. Assist with production runs and accurately document all steps in the make procedure to ensure safe, consistent, and high‑quality products. Perform product tests, record results, and make adjustments according to recipe specifications. Prepare, monitor, and change equipment throughout the cheese‑making process. Remain alert to equipment performance and identify abnormalities that may impact production or quality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following sanitation procedures and completing required sanitation documentation. Follow all food safety and personal safety policies and procedures to support the production of safe, quality products. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete production goals and support continuous improvement efforts. Promote company values and culture drivers through daily actions and teamwork. Perform all duties in a safe manner and complete other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of manufacturing or food manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with production equipment and machinery. Food safety and sanitation experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality products. Ability to follow procedures, complete documentation accurately, and work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work in various creamery environments, including pumping, pressing, mixing, cheese making, and packaging areas. Ability to lift 50+ pounds continuously, stand for up to 10 hours per day, and occasionally bend, twist, climb, grasp, and perform repetitive movements. Why Join LaClare Creamery? Sanitation:
Keep a clean work environment. Wash, rinse, sanitize and return all equipment back to its designated area immediately after done using. Complete time of use, daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly sanitation scheduled responsibilities along with documentation once work is complete. Follows all policies and procedures LaClare Creamery has implemented regarding food and personal safety to assist in maintaining a safe work environment and safe, quality products at all times. Effectively promotes Company values and culture drivers. Perform all duties in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Attributes 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing or food manufacturing. Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery. Food safety and sanitation experience is preferred. Attention to detail is required. Be able to lift 50+ pounds continuously, stand for 10 hours/day and occasionally twist, bend, climb, grasp, and other repetitive movements. Flexible to various creamery environments throughout make process; pumper, presses, mixer, making, and packaging. Annually complete all required LaClare Creamery training. Learn and understand cheese‑making processes and procedures.
