# of Openings 1 Category Manufacturing Type Regular Full-Time Overview This position is for 3rd Shift. 10:00PM - 6:00AM Sunday - Thursday. Reporting to the First Operations Manager this role is primary responsible for unloading parts at the Gemini machine, grinding and finishing metal parts, sorting and counting order quantities. The Production Helper may be assigned to any department to assist in meeting the needs of production. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, and transport product and materials short distances. Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job. Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment. Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in an environment with metal and sharp objects. Must have strong metal grinding, forming and basic fabrication background. Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure online manuals. Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools. Demonstrated competency in basic shop math. Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids. Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance. Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.
