In this role, you will play an integral part in the production process, ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and produces high-quality products. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various packaging machines while adhering to stringent safety and quality standards. As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will also monitor production output and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will contribute to the timely delivery of our products to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety practices and machine operation, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: \u2022 Set-up, calibration and operation of manufacturing equipment / powered equipment. \u2022 Monitoring machine operations and production quality to ensure compliance with standards. \u2022 Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed. \u2022 Documenting production data and maintenance activities accurately. \u2022 Following safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for all employees. \u2022 Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines. Requirements \u2022 High school diploma or G.E.D. \u2022 Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. \u2022 Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting \u2022 Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations. \u2022 Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in the manufacturing process. \u2022 Ability to lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation. \u2022 Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall. \u2022 Ability to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload. \u2022 Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
