WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
~ A skilled and dependable Turret Operator who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts while meeting production goals. Someone who can read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure parts are produced accurately and according to customer requirements. A detail-oriented individual who understands the importance of precision when setting up and operating turret punch press equipment. Someone who can efficiently set up and operate turret punch equipment , including loading materials, selecting programs and tooling, and monitoring the machine throughout the production process. A proactive problem solver who can identify and troubleshoot machine, tooling, material, or quality issues and make adjustments to keep production running smoothly. A quality-focused team player who inspects parts for accuracy and consistency and makes necessary adjustments without sacrificing efficiency. Someone who is comfortable working with metal materials and handling larger sheets and components while maintaining proper safety and material-handling procedures. A safety-minded individual who consistently follows machine safety requirements, PPE standards, and proper operating procedures. A reliable team player who communicates effectively with coworkers, leads, and supervisors and works collaboratively to meet department and production goals. Someone who takes ownership of their work and is willing to learn new equipment, tooling, programs, and processes while continuing to develop their skills.
SHIFT HOURS
~ 4 10's Schedule Monday - Thursday 3:45pm - 2:15am (with occasional OT on Fridays) $1.00 Shift Premium Training for this role, must take place on 1st shift prior to transitioning to 2nd.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
~ Machine Setup & Operation Set up and operate turret punch press machines, including Amada Vipros turrets Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications and material requirements Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and tool changes Troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime Ensure tools and equipment are in optimal working condition Blueprint Interpretation & Quality Control Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Verify measurements and ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout production Production & Workflow Management Work independently while managing changing priorities and deadlines Support efficient workflow and contribute to meeting production targets Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency Team Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments Communicate production updates, challenges, and solutions effectively Foster a positive and productive team environment Compliance & Standards Follow all safety protocols and company policies Maintain compliance with
ISO 9001
quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
~ 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environment High school diploma or GED required Ability to read and interpret blueprints Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative

Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
