$32-$36 p/h Position Overview A growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Turret Punch Operator II to join its 3rd-shift fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC-controlled turret punch equipment to produce custom components from blueprints and work orders. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic fabrication experience, and is comfortable performing setups, in-process inspection, and related hands-on production work. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC turret punch equipment. Produce custom parts according to blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications. Load material, tooling, and programs required for assigned jobs. Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed. Perform in-process inspections using measuring instruments. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints. Complete production and work-order documentation. Perform basic assembly and fabrication work using hand tools, drills, and other shop equipment. Maintain accurate production counts and package completed parts as required. Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance. Participate in cross-training across fabrication equipment and processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred. Experience operating turret punches, CNC fabrication equipment, punch presses, or similar machinery strongly preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing drawings. Strong basic shop math skills. Ability to use calipers, gauges, and other basic measuring instruments. Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to quality. Ability to work independently with minimal defects. Comfortable using hand tools and completing basic assembly work. Must be available to work 3rd shift and overtime as required. Pay:
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
