Job Description

Wabash has immediate openings for Production Support positions for long-term, full-time employment. At Wabash, our Purpose is "To Change How The World Reaches You." From the factory floor to our corporate offices, you will be part of a team providing innovative solutions across the transportation, logistics, and distribution industries. Experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate who is dependable, willing to learn, safety-focused, and ready to be part of a team. Work Schedule 1st
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM Four 10-hour days, with overtime available on Fridays. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support production by helping and assisting with assigned tasks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Clean tank surfaces using approved cleaning solvents and processes.
  • Use drills, hand tools, tape measures, and other production equipment.
  • Apply decals to tanks according to engineering specifications.
  • Perform touch-up painting as needed.
  • Install signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps, and other associated tank components according to engineering specifications.
  • Enter tanks when required to perform approved cleaning processes.
  • Hydro-test tanks according to company policies and procedures.
  • Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, measurements, and engineering specifications.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and basic problem-solving during production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, with consideration for personal safety, co-worker safety, and proper equipment use.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, respirators, and other PPE as required.
  • Cross-train and flex into other departments based on production needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
