Full-Time Position Overview Oshkosh Converting is looking for a dependable and motivated 1st Shift Pouch Assistant to join our growing flexible packaging operation. The Pouch Assistant works alongside our Pouch Machine Operator to help keep production running efficiently while ensuring finished pouches meet customer quality and packaging requirements. This is a hands-on manufacturing position and a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn pouch converting and grow into additional responsibilities. Responsibilities Pack finished pouches according to customer and job specifications Perform routine quality checks throughout production Inspect pouches for defects and immediately communicate quality concerns Prepare labels, boxes, pallets, and other materials needed for finished product Properly label and prepare completed pallets for shipment Assist the Pouch Machine Operator with material and roll changeovers Help keep the pouching machine supplied and production moving efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform routine cleaning around the pouching equipment and production area Follow Oshkosh Converting's quality, food safety, and production procedures Assist with other production duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable with strong attendance Good attention to detail Able to follow written job specifications and instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities Able to work effectively as part of a two-person production team Mechanically inclined or previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Ability to safely lift and handle materials associated with the position Why Oshkosh Converting?
