Hours:

2:00pm-12:30am Monday-Thursday QPS Employment Group is hiring Semi/Skilled Operators for a company in Pewaukee, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Semi/Skilled Operators Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor assigned production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as instructed
• Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, and safety concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel
• Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production schedules
• Record production data, downtime, waste, and quality checks accurately
• Assist with troubleshooting minor machine issues and support maintenance activities as needed
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping and 5S standards
• Comply with all company safety policies, GMPs, and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance staff to achieve production goals
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety

Semi/Skilled Operators Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience operating industrial machinery is an advantage
• Packaging or converting industry experience is a plus
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and production specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic quality inspections
• Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and production reporting
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the work shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment while following safety procedures
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
