Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support a manufacturing organization in Pewaukee, Wisconsin through a Long-term Contract assignment. This position focuses on keeping customer accounts current, posting incoming payments accurately, and addressing billing-related questions with professionalism and urgency. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and the ability to manage account activity and reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Record customer payments promptly and ensure receipts are matched correctly to open invoices.
  • Review receivables aging data, identify overdue balances, and follow up with customers to drive timely collections.
  • Investigate payment variances and work through discrepancies to achieve accurate account resolution.
  • Reconcile customer account activity and maintain precise documentation of transactions and balances.
  • Create invoices and credit adjustments as needed to support accurate customer billing.
  • Update and manage customer account information and transaction details within the company's designated system.
  • Build and review Excel-based reports to track receivables activity, payment trends, and account status.
  • Respond to customer questions related to invoices, payment status, and billing concerns in a clear and detail-focused manner.
