Formulator Responsibilities:
- Manufacture products according to approved formulas and production specifications.
- Maintain accurate batch records and all required production documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and barrel handlers.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control activities.
- Thoroughly clean manufacturing equipment after each production run.
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and maintenance concerns prior to operation.
- Understand and operate equipment required to mix products according to formulation requirements.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maximize production output.
Formulator:
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or applicable manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3.5 days per week, with overtime as needed.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and complete documentation accurately.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and averaging.
- Preferred experience in food or feed manufacturing environments.
- Preferred experience operating blending or packaging equipment.
