For over 30 years, the company provides high quality, American made equipment to manufacturers in the Plastics, Pharmaceutical, Rubber, Food & Beverage, Die Casting, Printing, Energy, Machine Tool, Lasers, and electronics industries. We have been growing steadily over the last several years by developing innovative new products that lead the industry with the latest technologies. This has made our products the first choice for our customers. To accommodate our growth, we're hiring a Material Handler / Kitting Specialist to keep our chiller and TCU (temperature control units) assembly stocked with the right parts. Detailed Job Duties Pull components from BOMs (bills of materials) and stage them for chiller and TCU assembly. Cross-reference part numbers against drawings and travelers to catch shortages, substitutions, or errors before they reach the line. Kit and label parts for each build, organized by work order. Maintain inventory accuracy on shelved stock; flag discrepancies and low stock to purchasing/production. Use hold tags and issue logs to document and route any BOM, drawing, or part discrepancies you find. Coordinating with production leads to keep the line(s) running without delays. Maintain an organized inventory and a clean, safe work environment. Other shop related tasks as assigned. Candidate Requirements Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment (not retail/e-commerce fulfillment). Comfortable reading BOMs, part numbers, and basic mechanical drawings. Detail-oriented; catches a wrong part or missing item before it becomes a line-down problem. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift, and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Forklift/pallet jack experience a plus. Basic computer skills for inventory/ERP lookups. Organized, self-motivated individual able to work independently. Positive attitude and collaborator. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
