•8:00 PM, Monday-Friday Position Summary SEEK Careers/Staffing is currently seeking Assistant Operators to support a composite sheet production line in River Falls, WI . The Assistant Operator works closely with the Lead Operator and production team to keep the line running safely and efficiently. This position assists with material preparation, machine operation, quality inspections, product handling, housekeeping, and other production activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and is interested in learning equipment operation and developing their manufacturing skills. Key Responsibilities Assist the Lead Operator with the safe and efficient operation of the composite sheet line. Prepare and stage raw materials and supplies for production. Load materials into production equipment as directed. Monitor the production line and notify the Operator or Supervisor of issues. Assist with machine start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and changeover activities. Monitor product quality and inspect finished material for defects or inconsistencies. Measure and verify products according to established specifications. Assist with handling, packaging, and movement of finished composite sheet material. Keep production materials organized and readily available. Complete required production and quality documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies. Communicate equipment, material, and quality concerns to the Lead Operator or Supervisor. Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move materials as required. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to learn . Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment is helpful, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Work Environment This is a hands-on manufacturing position working around production machinery and materials. Employees are expected to follow established safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, maintain good housekeeping, and communicate promptly about safety or equipment concerns. Compensation & Schedule $18.00
