Manufacturing Production Operator Location:
Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085

Shift:
Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM-6:30 AM, plus an additional 4 hours scheduled with the supervisor during the week to reach 40 hours Role Overview BEPC is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator to support a 24/7 membrane manufacturing operation in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. This role is responsible for supporting the continuous operation of a manufacturing line producing lateral flow membrane samples for customers. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will work closely with supervisors, chemists, maintenance personnel, and other manufacturing team members to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day manufacturing activities required to maintain continuous operation of the production line. Verify the quality and integrity of materials and equipment used throughout the manufacturing process. Identify equipment malfunctions and, with appropriate approval, take corrective action. Perform in-process analytical testing, including basic work-ups and interpretation of results according to established work instructions. Support managers, supervisors, chemists, and team members in a multi-shift manufacturing environment. Follow established safety, manufacturing, quality, and operating procedures. Work in accordance with applicable FDA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, and other regulatory guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas and equipment throughout each shift. Assist maintenance personnel with facility operations, maintenance, and equipment upkeep as needed. Operate manufacturing equipment, hand tools, laboratory equipment, calculators, and weighing and measuring devices. Operate forklifts and/or hand pallet trucks after completing required site training. Actively contribute to a positive safety, quality, and inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required. 2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures, protocols, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and help resolve process-related problems. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction from chemists, supervisors, and other manufacturing personnel. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, including entering and updating information. Basic understanding of plant, laboratory, and facility operations preferred. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted . Ability and willingness to work around manufacturing chemicals that may include nitrocellulose in IPA, acetone, butanol, and ethanol. Ability to wear required PPE, which may include an anti-shed uniform, hair/beard net, hard hat, safety glasses, and other site-provided protective equipment. Must successfully complete a required pre-employment physical.

Please note:
this role is for the 3rd shift from 6pm to 6am Friday - Sunday, 12-hour Night Shift (6pm-6:30am). Additional 4 hours to meet weekly 40 hrs scheduled with supervisor throughout the week.
