Job Title:

Production SupervisorDuties & Responsibilities:
  • Must be aware of all quality requirements with product being manufactured and make the supervisors aware of any questionable areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Must alert Supervisors, Technicians and/or Quality for any reject problems.
  • Pack good production in box counts according to the shop order instructions and follow the instructions in the Production Quality Work Instruction (PQWI).
  • Record good production, scrap/rejects, reject codes, and hours worked on the Molding Labor Forms.
  • Report to the workstation(s) in time to be "ready to work", and to relieve the prior shift staff promptly at shift change.
  • Must leave the press/work area clean and organized at the end of their shift.
  • Must be aware of the standard cycle for each job they are running and run that job on cycle.
  • Properly fill out the box labels and be able to make cartons.
  • Ensure press runs smoothly and perform duties such as grinding parts, adjusting material wand, operate secondary equipment and do basic utility responsibilities as needed.
  • Frequent manual handling of tools, material and/or machine parts.
  • Check grinder(s) bins before grinding and notify material handler before they get full.
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and quality and notify supervisor of concerns.
  • Must be able to work in a loud and hot or cold and dusty environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to communicate in English. Written and oral
  • Must have graduated from high school or have obtained a G.E.D.
  • Basic math skills are required
  • Must be motivated and be a self-starter
  • Good organization skills
  • Detail-orientedPhysical Abilities:
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lift, reach, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
