Overview:

SDI continues to push to be the industry leader and gold standard for corporate governance. The long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia, has an immediate opening for a Production Clerk.

Responsibilities:

Maintains our finished inventory count, including entering data on Excel spreadsheets for both rolling mills (production and maintenance) Assist Supervisor with safety-related forms and processing as well as daily journal entries for both shifts on each mill Work outdoors in an industrial environment, which means you need to be able to work in cold weather conditions in the winter and warm weather conditions in the summer Required to wear all approved PPE (such as hard hat, safety glasses, and metatarsal safety boots) All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Good verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.) Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task Successful clerical experience Valid driver's license Ability to drive a forklift Ability to lift 30 lbs. and climb stairs Steel Dynamics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
