Lake Forest, CA Pay:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
1st Shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM About the Position We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a manufacturing team supporting the medical device industry. This position is responsible for inspecting machined, fabricated, and assembled surgical instruments and equipment to ensure parts meet quality standards and engineering specifications. Job Responsibilities Inspect machined and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and workmanship Check part dimensions, tolerances, holes, threads, surfaces, and overall fit Identify defects, burrs, damage, or other quality issues Compare finished parts to engineering blueprints and specifications Perform in-process and final inspections Accurately record inspection results and communicate any quality concerns Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators Qualifications Previous Quality Control or Inspection experience required Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints Experience using calipers, micrometers, and comparators Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to identify and communicate quality issues Manufacturing or medical device industry experience is a plus
