PURPOSE:
Performs incoming, in-process, and finished device inspections and other related activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs incoming inspection in accordance with established SOP and specifications Performs in-process and final inspections of manufactured product per established SOP requirements, specifications, and inspection instructions. Perform other testing/inspection activities per approved protocol instruction Coordinates calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment. Maintains quality assurance logs. Perform work in a manner that ensures compliance with the quality system procedures as related to work activities/responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Requires High School diploma, certification, or equivalent relevant experience. At least 5 years of experience in inspecting/testing components, fabricated parts, subassemblies, product assemblies, and finished devices in the medical device industry. Requires written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility. Requires extensive experience in using measuring tools including but not limited to Micrometers, calipers, Micro-Vu, Pin Gauges, Tensile Testers, etc.
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
