QC Lab Specialist

We are currently seeking a Lab Specialist to join a growing aggregates and construction materials operation in Medley, FL. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in quality control and laboratory testing.

Responsibilities:

Perform sampling and testing of aggregate materials to ensure product quality and specification compliance Enter and interpret testing data in computer systems Coordinate and release shipments for FDOT certification Communicate quality trends and test results to production and operations teams Work alongside FDOT personnel for sampling and verification testing Maintain records and reporting in compliance with FDOT requirements Provide technical support to production, sales, and customers as needed Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safe work practices

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or 3+ years of related experience Knowledge of FDOT testing methods preferred ACI Aggregate Field and Laboratory Testing Technician certification or ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level I preferred Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, kneeling, crouching, and crawling Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Valid Florida Driver's License required # Pro123
