Quality Control Technician /
Inspector Location:
Walton, KY Pay:
$19.00/hour

1st Shift | Approximately 6:30 AM - 3:30
PM Job Type:
Full-Time Position Overview We are hiring a Quality Control Technician/Inspector to help ensure products, raw materials, packaging, and components meet established quality standards and specifications. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment . The Quality Technician will perform inspections, sampling, testing, documentation, and production-line quality checks while following GMP and company procedures. Schedule & Overtime $19.00/hour Typical schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Start times may vary slightly, typically between 6:30 AM and 6:45 AM Mandatory overtime is required when needed Production lines may occasionally run later than the scheduled shift Must be flexible and willing to stay late based on production needs Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, packaging, components, and finished products Perform visual inspections for dimensions, color, appearance, and overall quality Conduct incoming material and in-process production line checks Collect representative samples for testing and retention Submit samples and resamples to the laboratory in a timely manner Inspect and approve packaging components Monitor product quality through required visual and physical testing Review production and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance Ensure all quality-related documentation is completed accurately and completely Monitor and enforce GMP and quality standards throughout the production floor Work closely with production personnel to identify and address quality concerns Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Follow all safety regulations, GMP requirements, and company work instructions Qualifications 1-3 years of Quality Control/Quality Inspector experience preferred Manufacturing or production experience is a plus Strong attention to detail Quality-focused mindset Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of quality systems, process control, SPC, and labeling control Must be willing to work flexible hours and mandatory overtime when needed Strong communication and organizational skills Physical Requirements Frequently lift 5-20 lbs Occasionally lift 30-50 lbs Reach and lift overhead Crouch and lift from floor level Operate a pallet jack Walk, stand, or sit for up to 95% of the workday Work in temperatures ranging from approximately 50°F-85°F Must have adequate close-distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception Required PPE Employees are required to wear appropriate protective equipment, including: Chemical-resistant glasses/goggles Gloves Apron and sleeves Smock Shoe covers Dust mask Apply Today!
