Job Description
location:
Norwood, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $25 - 33 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Perform routine bioassays and analytical testing, including qPCR, cell-based potency assays, sequencing, and gel electrophoresis.Maintain mammalian cell cultures and prepare critical reagents following established SOPs.
Support raw material testing and maintain inventory, supplies, and laboratory equipment.
Document test data, manage electronic records in LIMS/SAP, and ensure strict cGMP compliance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, laboratory audits, and safety programs.
qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a STEM discipline with 0-2 years of experience in a cGMP QC laboratory setting.Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques, mammalian cell culture, PCR/qPCR, and gel electrophoresis.
Proficiency using general laboratory instrumentation (e.g., pH meters, balances, pipettes) and operating inside a Biological Safety Cabinet.
Strong written and oral communication skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office and electronic quality systems (LIMS, SAP, or eQMS).Basic understanding of FDA, EU, and ICH guidelines governing cGMP environments. #LI-AM1 skills: Molecular Biology, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Cell Cultures, Mammalian Cell Culture, Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
