Support Critical Laboratory Sample Preparation as a Quality Control Inspector!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Quality Control Inspector to support hands-on sample preparation activities in a technical work environment. This role is ideal for someonefortable using shop tools, following detailed procedures, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

What You'll Do

Prepare samples using equipment and tools including:

Band saw

Bolt cutters

Snips

Follow established sample preparation procedures and work instructions.

Use acetone as required during assigned preparation activities.

Maintain clean,anized, and safe work areas.

Follow all required PPE and site safety procedures.

Travel between nearby work locations as needed.

Complete required safety and equipment training before performing assigned tasks.

Safety & Training

All required job and site-specific safety training will be provided.

PPE will be provided for assigned activities.

LockoutTagout (LOTO) training will be provided for designated band saw cleaning activities.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS), eyewash stations, and emergency showers are available onsite.

This position will not be responsible for handling, transferring, or disposing of hazardous waste or chemicals beyond the defined use of acetone.

Equipment maintenance and LOTO activities outside the defined band saw cleaning scope are not part of this role.

Qualifications

Comfortable using basic hand tools and shop equipment.

Strongmitment to following safety procedures.

Ability to follow detailed work instructions consistently.

Good attention to detail and reliability.

Comfortable working independently after training.

Ability to travel between two nearby work sites as required.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) andor Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details:

$25.00 per hour
