Job Title:
Specialist Quality Control Systems Job Description This role focuses on supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of digital tools for the Quality Control (QC) laboratory. The position operates within the QC Systems group and involves partnering with stakeholders from various QC functions and cross-functional teams to understand laboratory processes and system interactions. The successful candidate will translate business and operational needs into scalable digital solutions, enhancing data visibility, reporting, and process efficiency. Responsibilities Support the development and maintenance of digital tools for the QC laboratory. Collaborate with stakeholders across QC functions such as Chemistry, Microbiology, and Bioassay to understand laboratory processes and data flows. Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and automation solutions to enable data-driven decision-making. Ensure alignment with QC processes, compliance requirements, and enterprise data strategies. Adhere to established procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and maintain compliance with cGMP requirements, including documentation and data integrity practices. Communicate progress, identify risks, and ensure the delivery of digital initiatives that enhance QC performance and operational insight. Essential Skills Advanced experience using Power BI in an enterprise environment. Strong SQL skills and experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform for automation solutions. Understanding of Quality Control laboratory processes including Chemistry and Microbiology. Proven communication skills for translating stakeholder requirements into digital solutions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Python programming is a plus. Experience with SharePoint development and/or administration. Understanding of quality systems and processes such as Deviations, Lab Investigations, CAPA trending, and material control. Experience working in a biopharmaceutical or regulated environment. Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and their application to laboratory data. Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or High school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience. Work Environment This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring presence on-site for 3 days a week. The role is based near Holly Springs, NC. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
