In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity of our production processes. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with quality systems will contribute directly to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of quality assurance, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documentation, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485
(medical devices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations to ensure adherence to industry standards and legal requirements. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools are within calibration standards for accurate measurements. Collect data during inspections, analyze measurement results, and document findings clearly for review and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions aligned with quality management systems. Support manufacturing by interpreting production documents, verifying compliance with quality standards in production processes, and participating in regular quality assurance activities. Skills Extensive knowledge of quality control principles within manufacturing environments, including QA/QC methodologies and quality assurance experience. Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP practices, FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production. Mechanical knowledge including blueprint interpretation, GD&T understanding, dimensional measurements, precision machining techniques, and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation accurately while applying basic math skills for precise measurements and data analysis. Experience conducting quality audits and assessments to uphold high-quality standards across all production stages. Excellent analysis skills to identify deviations from specifications quickly; capable of implementing effective corrective actions.
