Job Description

About the Role As a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst, you will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to excellence by performing critical bacteriological, analytical, and organoleptic testing. You will ensure the integrity of our products by managing the hold and release program and maintaining rigorous documentation standards that support our food safety initiatives. Responsibilities Execute precise analytical and microbiological testing on raw materials and finished goods to verify quality standards. Manage the positive release program to ensure only compliant products reach the market. Maintain meticulous records and laboratory documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation protocols across the facility to mitigate quality risks. Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate potential food safety concerns and resolve quality-related issues. Oversee laboratory inventory and ensure all testing equipment is functioning correctly and maintained in a sanitary state. Uphold Safe Quality Food (SQF) and OSHA safety standards throughout all daily operations. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 3-4 years of experience within the food manufacturing industry. Proficiency in data entry and reporting using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail. Preferred Skills Post-secondary education in a related scientific field. Advanced knowledge of food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) systems. Experience with laboratory information management systems or similar databases.
