Benefits & Perks Health Insurance Career Advancement Opportunities Positive Team Environment Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Management System in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, food safety standards, and company quality requirements while driving continuous improvement across production operations. Responsibilities Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with GMP and food safety regulations. Develop and deliver GMP and food safety training for production and QA personnel. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Review quality data, identify trends, and implement process improvements. Lead investigations using 5-Why, Fishbone, and DMAIC methodologies. Oversee batch record reviews, CAPAs, deviations, non-conformances, and document control. Partner with Production to implement corrective and preventive actions that improve quality and efficiency. Support supplier qualification, evaluations, and corrective action follow-up. Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits. Track KPIs and maintain accurate quality documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field. 5-7 years of Quality Assurance experience in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Minimum 3 years in a QA supervisory or leadership role. Knowledge of 21 CFR Parts 111 & 117, GMPs, HACCP, and
ISO 22000/17025.
Experience supporting or leading regulatory and customer audits. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems. Preferred Qualifications HACCP Certification or equivalent food safety training. ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Skills Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and quality systems. Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and organizational skills. Analytical problem-solving with a data-driven approach. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production facility for extended periods. Ability to climb stairs and occasionally ladders. Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and crouching during inspections and audits. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
