Job Description Our client manufactures roll-formed steel products and will implement an
ISO 9001
program in 2026. They need a hands-on Quality Supervisor to help implement and support quality systems in the plant The Quality Supervisor is responsible for managing standards and improving quality systems The Quality Supervisor works closely with the Corporate Quality Manager, Plant Manager, Production, Engineering and Customer Service to ensure consistent and compliant processes. The Quality Supervisor will work on the implementation and support of the Quality Management System (QMS) to be capable of achieving
ISO 9001
certification in 2026.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Plant Manager to standardize quality procedures, documentation, inspections, testing protocols, corrective action processes, and reporting structures. Support internal and supplier audits, customer quality reviews; track, resolve nonconformances. Support statistical process control, capability analysis, and root cause analysis techniques to reduce variation and improve product consistency. Support PPAP, FAI, CPK, and customer-specific quality documentation Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for product compliance. Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to verify specifications met Document inspection outcomes, maintain records: quality defects, corrective actions and customer complaints. Identify and address recurring quality issues, recommend improvements and corrective actions. Collaborate with all departments to resolve quality concerns and ensure smooth operations. Train, mentor staff, ensuring proper testing procedures and documentation practices. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards, including
ISO Qualifications Requirements:
BS degree engineering, Manufacturing or related preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of quality supervision experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with metal forming, stamping, or fabrication strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience working in an
ISO 9001
manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R, and structured root-cause investigation. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
