Job Description

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional, secure setting. The Quality Assurance Coordinator assists with the compliance of company policies, procedures and contractual standards through the facility accreditation, audit and inspection processes. Coordinates the preparation and maintenance of ACA files in accordance with accreditation standards and assists the department to ensure the facility is audit ready at all times. Assists with audits and routine inspections. Accurately prepares, completes and maintains required forms, records, and accreditation files. Complies with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards, and/or contract. Using appropriate grammar and spelling, routinely composes and creates documents, to include letters, memoranda, reports, correspondence, forms and statistical data. Inputs text accurately and produces finished documents efficiently using word processing and spreadsheet programs. Copies, compiles and distributes finished documents as necessary. Communicates effectively with internal staff and external contacts. Professionally responds to verbal/written inquiries and requests or refers to appropriate staff member. Reads and comprehends correspondence, policies, regulations, procedures, reports, directions for form completion and other moderately complex documents. Assists the facility's Quality Assurance Manager with other audit, inspection, accreditation and compliance duties as assigned.
