Position Summary The QA/Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving TOMAR Electronics' Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable UL and CSA certification requirements. This role owns document control for work instructions and procedures, serves as the primary point of contact for certification bodies and inspectors, and partners closely with Engineering and Production to ensure new and existing products meet all required quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Quality Assurance / Compliance Key Responsibilities Manage the
ISO 9001
certification program, including internal audits, corrective/preventive actions, and surveillance audit readiness. Serve as Quality Management System (QMS) Manager, maintaining and continuously improving the QMS in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Handle any compliance requests like Conflict Mineral reporting, CA Prop 65, PFAS, etc. Maintain and organize all UL certification files, ensuring documentation remains current and audit-ready. Maintain and organize all CSA certification files, ensuring documentation remains current and audit-ready. Serve as the primary inspection point of contact for UL, CSA, and ISO auditors and inspectors. Own Document Control for Work Instructions and Procedures, including managing the transition of documentation from Engineering to Production, evaluating incoming feedback, and determining when a new or revised Work Instruction (W.I.) is needed. Partner directly with Production Supervisors to write, update, and release Work Instructions to the production floor. Serve as UL Project Manager, staying current with Engineering's product roadmap to plan and manage the certification path for upcoming products. Maintain quality records in accordance with company policy and applicable regulatory/customer requirements. Serve as State Submittal Project Manager, managing state-level product submittal requirements and timelines. Serve as Calibrated Equipment Manager, maintaining the calibration schedule and records for all measurement and test equipment. Qualifications Prior experience in a Quality Assurance or Compliance role within a manufacturing environment; electronics manufacturing experience preferred. Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality management systems, including internal auditing and corrective action processes. Experience with UL and/or CSA certification processes and documentation requirements. Strong document control experience, including managing work instructions and engineering-to-production handoffs. Experience managing calibrated equipment programs preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple certification and compliance projects simultaneously. Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Engineering, Production, and Supervisors. Education & Experience

Lead Auditor certification Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
