Job Summary We are seeking a QA Supervisor (food industry) for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a quality professional with strong food safety, regulatory compliance, and team leadership experience who is ready to oversee daily QA/QC operations in a fast-paced production environment. The QA Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting audit readiness, leading quality personnel, and driving continuous improvement across food safety and quality systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily QA Lab activities, Quality Control functions, product inspections, testing programs, and quality verification processes throughout production. Plan, organize, and schedule QA/QC departmental activities to maximize the effective use of personnel, equipment, and materials. Manage hold and release procedures for finished products, in-process materials, and samples, including shelf-life studies and related documentation. Maintain and improve food safety and quality programs, including FSMS, HACCP, pest control, food defense, allergen control, GMPs, and QA/QC procedures. Lead, train, coach, and evaluate QA and QC personnel while enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues using quality metrics, statistical methods, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
$80,000 to $90,000 per year.
