Job Description

Role Overview Manage the routine operations of the Quality Assurance Lab and floor-level Quality Control processes. Coordinate and organize departmental workflows to maximize the efficiency of staff, machinery, and resources while adhering to established financial and quality benchmarks. Provide leadership by mentoring, coaching, disciplining, and supporting the development of QC technician staff. Execute mock recall procedures, manage the status of in-process and finished goods, and conduct ongoing shelf-life evaluations. Support the intake and inspection of incoming materials. Oversee the administration of critical safety and quality frameworks, including FSMS, HACCP, allergen management, pest control, GMP standards, and internal QA/QC protocols. Ensure all operations align with
FSSC 22000
standards to uphold food safety and product integrity. Handle additional responsibilities as the business needs evolve. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Food Science, paired with at least three years of comprehensive food production experience. Strong technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated history of utilizing statistical analysis to conduct thorough investigations and resolve quality issues. Desired Background At least three years of professional experience covering the full spectrum of food manufacturing, quality assurance, and packaging. Possession of both PCQI and HACCP certifications.
