This position will supervise production employees, help keep the filling/packaging line running efficiently, and ensure products meet company quality standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee bottle filling, capping, labeling, packaging, and related production processes.
- Assign employees to production stations and monitor productivity.
- Inspect bottles, labels, fill levels, packaging, and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Identify and report defective or non-conforming products and assist with resolving quality issues.
- Verify lot numbers, dates, labels, and other product information.
- Train employees on production procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate production and quality-control records.
- Ensure production areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with material handling, inventory, packaging, palletizing, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Communicate production and quality issues to management.
- Lead by example and promote teamwork, accountability, and safe work practices. Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing, production, bottling, packaging, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Quality-control or inspection experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and direct employees.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation.
- Comfortable working hands-on alongside production employees.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to visually inspect products, labels, and packaging.
