Role:

Quality Control Program:

Develop, maintain, and execute a formal written Quality Control Program, ensuring compliance with customer-approved project plans & specifications.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Project Coordinators, Field Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to address drawing deficiencies and maintain effective communication channels.

Documentation:

Keep meticulous records of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual quality inspection & testing activities.

Concrete Mix Designs:

Monitor, maintain, and develop concrete mix designs to meet product specifications.

Certifications:

Ensure the plant maintains required certifications, including NPCA, DOT, and local agencies. Also, oversee individual certifications for Quality Technicians.

Leadership:

Provide daily leadership and supervision to Quality Technicians, ensuring the execution of quality inspections & testing in line with the Quality Control Program.

Continuous Improvement:

Review non-conformance reports and field incident reports, leading root cause analysis and driving continuous process improvement.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure departmental compliance with all facility safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED; 2 Year/Associate Degree preferred. 3 years of Manufacturing Quality Management experience. Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies. Experience in lean manufacturing techniques. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines. Work experience in Concrete Manufacturing and/or concrete material testing preferred.
