Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our aerospace machine shop's quality assurance efforts. This pivotal role involves overseeing all quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and ITAR regulatory requirements . Lead quality audits to ensure adherence to internal procedures and external regulatory standards, identifying areas for improvement. Oversee quality control processes including inspections, testing, and validation of machined components to guarantee specifications are met consistently. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions to resolve quality issues effectively. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production workflows while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Conduct training sessions on quality systems, inspection techniques, and compliance requirements for staff members. Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and process improvements to support management decision-making. Requirements Proven experience in quality management within aerospace manufacturing or a similar high-precision environment. Strong knowledge of industry standards such as

AS9100 ITAR, ISO 9001

(quality management), HACCP (hazard analysis), CGMP (current good manufacturing practices) Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits and implementing QA/QC procedures across manufacturing operations. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective corrective actions. Familiarity with quality systems related to aerospace machining processes including inspection techniques and measurement tools.
